Our Story

In 2007, our founder, Neil Denning set out on a journey. He aimed to bring affordable compliance to companies searching for a solution. Regulatory changes, policies, procedures and the ever-changing government guidelines means that staying on top of HR becomes increasingly difficult as your business grows.

This is where we come in. Neil began the OJ journey so that employers can focus on growing their business and ensure that daily operations run smoothly. Our H&S and HR packages can be adjusted to meet the specific needs and requirements of your business. We recognise that one size does not fit all. We adjust our packages to ensure we are helping businesses fulfil their potential.

Our Leadership Team

Neil Denning
Managing Director

Neil founded the company back in 2007 and hasn’t looked back since. He has grown OJ from humble beginnings into one of the most trusted compliance companies in the country. Since starting OJ, he has helped thousands of businesses prioritise their people.

Owen Denning
Operations Manager

Owen has been with the company since 2018 as a consultant and an advisor but has now progressed through the company. As well as his duties of Operations Manager, Owen also carries out various H&S and HR Services. He has become one of the most integral parts of the company.

Kelly Broadbent
Office Manager

Kelly first joined OJ in 2010 as the Accounts Manager but since then has also worked in administration human resources, and has now become the Office Manager. During her time at the company, Kelly has amassed an impressive range of knowledge across each department.

Derren Kay
HR and Marketing Manager

Derren joined OJ after completing his degree with honours in business management and marketing. Since then, he has become an associate member of the CIPD and has progressed to become the manager of both the marketing and HR departments.
